Full-time position of Project Coordinator to support the emerging Integrated Marine Debris Observing System (IMDOS) is funded by EuroSea and the Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences (IO PAN). The position is 15 months with a possibility of extension contingent upon additional funding and satisfactory performance. Starting date is 1 September 2022. The successful candidate will be employed at IO PAN in Sopot, Poland, but will be encouraged to work remotely. The implementation of IMDOS is currently guided by the recently established IMDOS Interim Steering Committee, with coordination support provided by GOOS and GEO Blue Planet. The IMDOS Project Coordinator will lead or contribute to the scientific coordination and communication activities.
