On 8 and 9 June 2021, EuroSea, represented by GEOMAR and MARUM, will participate with a virtual exhibition stand on Sustainable Ocean Observation in the virtual Meeresumweltsymposium (Marine Environment Symposium) which is organized by the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) in cooperation with the German Federal Environment Agency and the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation. This annual German event attracts interested parties from politics, administration and science, as well as associations and private individuals to participate in the discussions on the topical marine environment issues.
In addition to the presentation of the official EuroSea video and a question and answer session with EuroSea representatives, a presentation will be given on the topic of Autonomous Surface Vehicles by Björn Fiedler (GEOMAR) and Christoph Waldmann (MARUM) on both days. EuroSea coordinator Toste Tanhua and project manager Nicole Köstner are also attending this event.
