The upcoming 2nd Joint Workshop on “a vision for the information value-chain” will take place on 11 July 2023 and is planned as a fully virtual event.
Organized by EuroSea and OceanPredict, this open workshop will bring together the global and regional ocean observation and prediction communities to discuss the following sessions:
- Top session: Operational Oceanography and the ocean information value-chain
- Session 1: Interoperability and best practice
- Session 2: Observing and prediction community integration
- Session 3: EuroSea & OceanPredict – in support of the UN Ocean Decade
The workshop is the follow-on event from last year’s EuroSea/OceanPredict workshop and will feature invited speakers and a panel discussion to provide insight into EuroSea advances with regard to its contribution to European and global progress in operational oceanography, specifically the ocean information value-chain.
