Several EuroSea researches collaborated on a white paper entitled Ocean Science Challenges for 2030, coordinated by EuroSea Work Package 2 co-leader Ananda Pascual (Spanish National Research Council – CSIC, Spain) . The white paper is part of a book presenting the reflections of CSIC on 14 strategic themes established on the basis of their scientific impact and social importance, with ocean being one of them.
These 14 thematic chapters, or white papers, will serve as a reference for the development of the CSIC scientific strategy. They will provide an insight into the research currently being accomplished at the agency and, at the same time, build a global vision of what will be the key scientific challenges in the next decade. The white paper dedicated to the ocean includes contributions by more than 150 authors.
