During the Ocean Race Grand Finale in Genoa in June 2023, EuroSea is holding a session to discuss the European ocean observing and forecasting systems in a global context. A full day event on 28 June will bring together key European institutions conducting ocean research and delivering oceanographic products and services to a wide range of users.
The EuroSea day in the Ocean Race Grand Finale is part of the Ocean Data Week organized by EuroSea partner ETT, Italy. We will discuss the state of play in integrating ocean and weather observation systems, innovative service prototypes developed within EuroSea and other initiatives, and reflect on the evolution of the ocean observing enterprise. Public authorities, policymakers, universities, research centers, and maritime industries are invited to attend and contribute to this debate.
