The international Ocean Best Practices System (coordinated by IOC-UNESCO) supports the EuroSea objective of fostering and making available best practices across the value chain, from observations to data management and applications for understanding the state and potential of our ocean. EuroSea developed methodologies and best practices which have enriched the collection of the Ocean Best Practices System, on the following topics:
- Extreme Marine Events Hazard maps & forecasts
- Network integration
- Marine debris observing
- Machine learning techniques
- Simulated observations from different realistic numerical models
- Interoperability
